Mycelial Mapping
The book is hand dyed and hand-sewn to a cover of rusted sheet metal and attached to a foot cast in bronze, it is an object that physically interacts with its environment. Its unusual weight and form prevent it from lying flat unless it leaves an impression in a soft natural surface, allowing the book itself to leave a footprint.
Through the lens of mushrooms and mycelial structures, this book explores how design can challenge the way we navigate natural landscapes and embrace chance encounters in nature, such as discovering fungi. This project was very Influenced by the work of John Cage in many aspects, particularly his writings on mushrooms, use of chance operations and the mesostic writing structure.
Inspired by the similarities between maps and mycelium networks, the project draws on the idea that both are systems of pathways that can connect and teach us.
Litel Floer Botanical Art Center
Visual identity and spatial reimagining of an abandoned 1930s Chicago church transformed into a botanical art center.
This project integrates historical photographs and plant to reflect both the building’s past and its living future.
Daisies Film Screening
An experimental triptych created for a screening at Metrograph Theater, inspired by Daisies (1966). All elements are entirely handmade using stamping and collage techniques, then scanned and assembled digitally. The triptych references the anarchic spirit of the Czech New Wave.
The video piece incorporates clips from the film itself, interwoven with the handmade elements used in the posters.

The title reflects the emotional weight of becoming informed, the deeper you delve into the facts, the more it feels like you’re sinking, trapped in a cycle of contamination and neglect.
